How do I connect my AI?
Mycelium speaks the open MCP protocol, so any MCP-compatible app or agent harness — Claude Desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT, local models, and more — plugs into one interface and gets your full context. You bring your own AI: run a model locally or use your own API key.
How do I talk to it?
Through the web portal, over Telegram, or directly via Matrix (end-to-end encrypted) — the same vault, whichever surface you prefer.
What can it hold?
Import your Claude and ChatGPT history, connect channels (Telegram, Discord, WhatsApp), your workspace (email, drive, calendar), voice notes and transcripts, and live feeds. Every stream funnels into one encrypted vault.
How is my data protected?
AES-256-GCM, with a key that only ever exists on your machine. No backdoor, no admin override, no "forgot password."
Is it free?
The app is free and open source — self-host it and bring your own AI. Optionally, claim a mycelium handle (your own address on the network) for €1/mo.
What if I lose my key?
Your data is gone — unrecoverable, by design. That's what sovereignty costs.
