Personal intelligence that belongs to you
- Own your data
- Think in private
- Connect meaningfully
- Know the truth
Your rights preserved
Your conversations, documents, and searches power platforms and governments. Your connections are optimized for engagement, not meaning. The information you see is filtered to keep you scrolling, not to keep you informed.
Mycelium exists to change this.
Your data, your benefit
Every thought, conversation, and document — encrypted with a key only you hold. Your intelligence compounds for you, not as inventory for advertisers and governments.
Information you can trust
Define your own intelligence streams from sources you choose. Get briefings at the depth you need — not what an algorithm decided you should see.
Connections that matter
Relationships based on what you actually think about — intellectual overlap, shared interests, genuine resonance. Not likes, follows, and engagement metrics.
True independence
Open source. Self-hostable. No lock-in, no terms that change under your feet. Your intelligence infrastructure belongs to you.
Territories
Clusters of related thinking that form naturally. Each gets an AI-generated name, chronicle, and story arc that evolves as you grow.
Realms & themes
Territories group into themes, themes into realms. A fractal view of your intellectual landscape at every zoom level.
Watch yourself evolve
Scrub through time to see which interests were active at any moment. Discover patterns, shifts, and blind spots you can't see from the inside.
People in your landscape
Contacts appear where they belong in your mindscape. See who shares your territories and where your conversations cluster.
Shape it for whatever matters to you. Start with one agent. Add more as you grow. Each accumulates memory, develops understanding, and learns how to work for you.
Journaling, reflection, daily briefs, life coordination. Knows your history, tracks your threads, helps you think through what matters.
Track topics you care about, investigate questions in depth. Web search, document analysis, synthesis into your knowledge base.
Portfolio tracking across stocks, crypto, commodities, and prediction markets. Market monitoring, performance analytics — all encrypted.
Daily briefings from live data — OSINT feeds, prediction markets, signal detection. Scored with probabilities and tracked against outcomes.
Turn conversations and notes into essays, newsletters, and content. Editorial support, writing assistance, publishing workflows.
Whatever you need
Agents delegate tasks to each other, share a common encrypted knowledge base, and run autonomous cycles — reflections, integrations, research — on their own schedules.
Native apps for macOS and iOS capture voice, transcriptions, and activity — feeding your knowledge base continuously. Everything encrypted before it leaves your device.
Intellectual overlap
Discover people who share your territories — the topics, questions, and interests that define how you think. High-dimensional similarity, not surface-level profiles.
Privacy-preserving
Connections are built from territory labels and cognitive patterns — never raw thoughts or embeddings. Others see the shape of your mind, not its contents.
Connections have shape
Some connections are broad and shallow, others deep and narrow. Some complementary, others twin-like. The system maps the real texture of how you relate.
Federated network
Your instance connects peer-to-peer with others. No central server decides who you can reach. Sovereign instances forming voluntary networks.
Zero-knowledge cloud
Every record encrypted with its own key before leaving your server. The cloud stores ciphertext it cannot read.
AES-256-GCM · per-record DEKsYou hold the only key
The master encryption key never leaves your machine. No cloud secret, no key escrow, no admin override. Delete it and the data is gone.
Client-side master keyNo backdoors
No "forgot password" that lets anyone in. No government compliance key. No emergency access. This is the whole point.
Open source · auditableThe right to think freely is the right to think privately. Intelligence that reports to someone else isn't yours — it's theirs.
Read how the vault works — encryption architecture, threat model, and what happens when things go wrong.
How does Mycelium protect my data?
Your data is encrypted with AES-256-GCM using a master key that exists only on your machine. Our cloud infrastructure stores and serves ciphertext — it cannot decrypt your data. Even with full access to Cloudflare, D1, Workers, and logs, no one can read your data without the key that lives solely on your machine. There is no backdoor, no admin override, no "forgot password" that lets us in.
What happens if I lose my key?
Your data becomes permanently unrecoverable. This is by design. You back up a 24-word recovery phrase when you set up your vault. That phrase reconstructs the master key. Lose it and the data is gone — we cannot help you recover it. This is the cost of true data sovereignty.
What is the Mindscape?
A 3D knowledge graph built from all your messages and documents. Semantic clustering groups your conversations into territories (topics you think about), themes (broader patterns), and realms (major life areas). Each territory gets AI-generated chronicles describing what it contains and how it's evolving. You can scrub through time, see contacts mapped to topics, and discover patterns in your own thinking you couldn't see before.
What makes the agents "living"?
Agents don't just respond when you talk to them. They have autonomous schedules — morning check-ins, evening reflections, research cycles, integration walks through your knowledge base. They delegate tasks to each other, accumulate memory over time, and can modify their own configuration. Each agent has its own identity, tools, and channels, but they share an encrypted knowledge base.
Can I self-host Mycelium?
Yes. Mycelium runs on any Ubuntu 22.04+ VPS with Node.js 22+. Clone the repo, configure your Cloudflare credentials, generate your encryption key, and start your agents. Total cost is about $25/month — a VPS ($5-8) plus a Claude subscription (~$20). Managed hosting is also available if you prefer not to run infrastructure yourself.
How do connections work?
Your mindscape reveals what you think about. When you connect with another Mycelium user, the system compares territory labels and cognitive patterns — never raw data or embeddings — to find genuine intellectual overlap. Connections can be broad, deep, complementary, or asymmetric. Your private data stays private; others see the shape of your mind, not its contents.
